DRIVING FROM PERTH TO MARGARET RIVER(

Margaret River is located in the South West region of Western Australian.
Situated 272 kilometres south of Perth or a three hour drive the Margaret
River region offers a selection of world-class wineries, gourmet food
and boutique accommodation making it the perfect destination for a romantic
weekend or short break.
DRIVING Your CHEAP CAR RENTALS
There are two main highways that can be taken to arrive at Margaret
River. Visitors arriving via Perth airport can now take a very quick
route along Roe Highway which now flows directly into Kwinana Highway
to follow the signs to Mandurah. Continue southwards along the Old Coast
Road to pass the coastal towns of Bunbury and Busselton. By pass Busselton
to turn left onto Bussell Highway, traveling through farming country
and grape vines to Cowaramup before arriving in Margaret River. The
route isl sign posted and the journey will take approximately three
hours. People already residing in Perth should begin their journey by
heading out of the city south along Kwinana Freeway.
DIRECTIONS FROM PERTH CITY (subject to change)
Follow Kwinana Freeway (National Route 1- State Route 2). Take it all
the way down to the end of the freeway which becomes Safety Bay Road.
Follow Safety Bay Road to the intersection of Ennis Avenue (National
Route 1) turn left onto this road. Continue through to Mandurah, National
Route One now becomes Old Coast Road. Continue on Old Coast Road all
the way to Bunbury. At main roundabout which you will arrive at follow
signs to the left, onto Robertson Drive . At the next roundabout you
will reach turn left again onto Bussell Highway (State Route Ten) continue
to Busselton. At the roundabout in Busselton turn left onto Busselton
Bypass at the end of the bypass turn left again at roundabout onto Bussell
Highway (10), continue through Cowaramup town site and onto Margaret
River.
The alternative highway is the inland route which is a little slower
getting here, but quite scenic. This highway is known as the South Western
Highway. The South Western Highway guides you inland from the suburb
of Armadale, Pinjarra, Waroona, Harvey, Brunswick Junction and on into
Bunbury then Busselton, Cowaramup and through to Margaret River.
